myPeer Community Guidelines

myPeer is a community of verified medical professionals. Everything here flows from one idea: the profile is really you, and what you publish carries your name and your registration. These guidelines apply to all content on myPeer - profiles, cards, websites, and referrals. 1. Be Who You Say You Are

  • Your profile must represent you: your name, your qualifications, your registration.
  • No impersonation. Creating a profile as another doctor, a clinic you don't own, an institution, or a public figure is the most serious violation on myPeer and leads directly to account action.
  • Do not forge, alter, or simulate the VERIFIED badge or remove/hide the ghost watermark on an unverified card. Badge integrity is treated as impersonation.
  • Credentials must be current and truthful. If your registration status changes (suspension, cancellation), your profile must not continue to claim it. 2. Protect Patients - Always You carry a professional duty of confidentiality, and it applies fully to your myPeer content:
  • Never publish patient-identifying information - names, faces, identifiable case details, documents, reports, or before/after photos that could identify a person - anywhere on your card, website, gallery, or links, with or without their consent having been given elsewhere.
  • Case discussions must be genuinely de-identified. “Anonymised” is not enough if a neighbour could still recognise the patient.
  • Testimonials and patient photos are also constrained by your professional-conduct rules; where those rules prohibit them, myPeer does too. 3. No Medical Misinformation Your website speaks with a verified doctor's authority - which is exactly why it must not mislead:
  • No cures that don't exist, no guaranteed outcomes, no anti-scientific claims presented as medicine.
  • Distinguish clearly between established practice and personal opinion or experimental approaches.
  • My Lounge content is educational entertainment; do not present quiz material (yours or ours) as clinical guidance. 4. Keep Referrals Honest Referrals exist so you can invite peers you actually know. By design, only invitees who complete verification count - so spam earns nothing. Even so:
  • Do not mass-message strangers, post invite links as spam in groups/forums, buy or sell referral placements, or create accounts to farm credit.
  • Do not misrepresent what joining myPeer gets someone. 5. Respect Your Peers
  • Professional disagreement is welcome; harassment, abuse, discrimination, and personal attacks are not.
  • Do not use your myPeer presence to defame colleagues or competitors.
  • Do not publish others' private information (addresses, numbers, correspondence) without consent. 6. General Content Rules
  • No unlawful content, and nothing that violates the advertising and solicitation limits of your professional-conduct regulations.
  • Every external link you publish is your responsibility - link destinations must meet these guidelines too.
  • Content you upload must be yours to use (see the Copyright Policy). 7. Enforcement Ladder We enforce proportionately, escalating as needed:
  • Warn - we tell you what's wrong and give you the chance to fix it.
  • Unpublish - the offending content (or your website/card) is taken off public view until resolved.
  • Badge revocation - for misrepresented credentials or badge-integrity violations, the VERIFIED badge is removed.
  • Account action - suspension or termination for serious or repeated violations. We skip straight to the top of the ladder for impersonation, credential fraud, patient-privacy violations, and legal necessity. Modifications to the Agreement

myPeer reserves the right to amend this User Agreement at any time. In the event of material structural changes, you will receive an active notification inside your dashboard or via electronic mail at least fourteen (14) days prior to the enforcement of the revised terms. Continued utilization of the Platform following the conclusion of the notice period constitutes active consent to the updated terms. 9. Reporting Anyone - doctor, patient, member of the public - can report a profile or website that violates these guidelines at support@mypeer.in. Reports about patient-privacy violations and impersonation are prioritised.
