About myPeer
Our mission
Doctors have earned their names. myPeer exists so that a doctor - not an aggregator, not a listing site, not an impersonator - owns their real online identity.
myPeer (mypeer.in) is a verified doctor identity platform for India. A registered medical practitioner claims their name, proves who they are, and receives a professional presence they control: a digital card, a personal website at their own address, and a permanent QR code that always points back to them.
What every doctor gets
- A verified identity. You claim your account with nothing but your mobile number - no passwords, ever. You complete your professional profile and upload your medical registration certificate, which is checked against your registration details before the VERIFIED badge is issued - automatically when the match is high-confidence, by a human reviewer in every other case.
- A digital card. Your card publishes instantly. Until your identity is verified, it carries a visible "ghost" watermark so no one can mistake an unverified card for a verified one.
- A personal website. Your own address at
{name}.mypeer.in. Your subdomain is yours for as long as your account is active - it cannot be changed or taken from you. If an account is permanently deleted, its address may eventually be released for another doctor to claim. - A permanent QR code. Your printed QR never breaks and never transfers: it encodes a permanent code tied to you, not to your address. Even if a released address is later claimed by someone else, a QR you printed will never point at another doctor.
- Referrals. Invite peers you trust. Only invitees who complete verification count - the referral system is built to be spam-proof.
- Play Zone. A daily clinical quiz for sharpening instincts. It is educational, not medical advice.
- My Policy. If you hold a CoverPrime health cover, myPeer shows you a read-only mirror of it, matched by your verified mobile number.

Verification you can trust
Verification is the heart of myPeer. Registration certificates are read automatically (optical character recognition) and checked against the registration details you entered. High-confidence matches are confirmed automatically; anything less than certain goes to a human reviewer. The VERIFIED badge is earned - it cannot be bought, forged, or transferred, and it can be revoked if credentials are misrepresented.
Our honesty rules
We would rather show nothing than show something fake:
- Statistics (card views, website visits) display "-" until real activity exists. We never show fake zeros or inflated counts.
- We use no third-party trackers - no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels. Viewing counts are anonymous and first-party only.
- The VERIFIED badge means a real registration certificate was checked against the doctor's registration details - automatically for high-confidence matches, by a human for everything else. Nothing less.

myPeer is built by CoverPrime, the insurance and membership brand serving India's medical community. CoverPrime's relationship with doctors is why myPeer starts from trust: verified identity first, everything else second.
Who myPeer is for
myPeer accounts are for registered medical practitioners in India. Patients and the public can view doctors' public cards and websites, but only doctors hold accounts.
Founding Members
The first 500 verified doctors on myPeer are recognised as Founding Members, each with a permanent founding number. Founding Member status is earned by being early - it is never sold.
